Chris was born in the UK. As a teenager he was cast in a Yorkshire TV show after he persuaded the producers that he should make up his own lines. An improvisor was born. After getting a drama degree and playing several of Shakespeare’s fools, idiots, and other assorted stupid people, he became Associate Director of Inter-Action Theatre in London as well as playing multiple characters on BBC TV’s The Young Ones. Looking for a change, he moved to Los Angeles, where he has edited nine movies, directed a bunch of big immersive media experiences and some shorts for SNL, directed the main company of ‘the Groundlings’, co-produced and directed a web series, won a bunch of awards you’ve never heard of, and now spends his days writing and sometimes directing immersive shows. He also plays regularly with The Transformers - a comedy troupe that can’t be bothered to write anything, so they just make it up. His dream is to be a professional basketball player.
